More About Bonita:
Bonita was found when she was just 3 months old. She had strayed into a village supermarket to get out of the cold. The poor girl was shivering and very thin. A villager took her home and she spent time being fostered by both them, and a local friend. At 10 months old, her fosterer had to move house so she ended up living with one of our Merlin's fosterers. She has grown up with other dogs and is well socialised. Her fosterer also helped train her to eat around other dogs without aggression as after fighting to survive for a while this can be common.
Bonita is a smart and affectionate dog who is used to a home environment, but has now come to Merlin's due to a change in circumstances for her fosterer. She is settling in really well and plays beautifully with our other dogs. She's a typical Pointer - tonnes of energy and would benefit from further training to help stimulate her more. She's great with people and loves fuss and attention.
